This market will resolve according to the candidate who receives the most valid votes from Horry County in the Special Republican Primary Runoff for United States Senator from South Carolina, which is scheduled to be held on August 25, 2026. The named candidates will be primarily ranked by the number of valid votes received in the specified election. If two or more candidates are tied on valid votes, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the candidates' last names. This market will resolve to the candidate that occupies the highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If the Horry County results of this election are not definitively known by December 31, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve based on a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the government of South Carolina, including the Election Commission and the government of Horry County.Darline Graham Nordone holds a dominant position in the Horry County portion of South Carolina’s August 25 Republican Senate special primary runoff, driven by her statewide primary performance, appointment as interim senator following her brother Lindsey Graham’s death, Trump endorsement, and family name recognition that resonates with local Republican voters. Ralph Norman draws support primarily from his Upstate congressional base, limiting his reach in the coastal Grand Strand area. A recent debate misstep on foreign policy highlights questions about her experience, yet trader consensus reflects these structural advantages and the short timeline before ballots are cast, with limited realistic paths for Norman to overcome the gap absent major late shifts in turnout or endorsements.
