Recent Swedish polls ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election show Centerpartiet (C) gaining momentum while Vänsterpartiet (V) has stabilized or edged lower. The latest Verian survey for SVT recorded C at 8.0 percent, up significantly from June, and V at 7.7 percent. Other August measurements place the parties within a narrow band, with C frequently polling ahead or closing the gap. C's summer rise has been attributed to voter shifts from Social Democrats and Liberals, alongside its positioning around a potential "centre alternative" coalition. These trends underpin trader consensus favoring C receiving more votes than V.
