Trader consensus on the highest Los Angeles temperature for September 22 centers on the 74–77°F range, with closely matched implied probabilities reflecting National Weather Service forecasts of mid-70s to around 80°F under patchy morning marine layer and fog followed by sunny conditions and southwest winds near 15 mph. Sea-breeze moderation and timing of fog burn-off introduce uncertainty between the leading bins, as stronger on-shore flow or delayed clearing would favor the lower outcome while faster clearing could push readings into the upper 70s. These conditions align with typical late-September climatology near 76°F at downtown and coastal stations, where official model consensus shows limited warming potential absent offshore flow.
