Recent forecasts for Panama City, Panama, indicate a high near 28–31°C on September 10 amid persistent cloud cover, scattered showers, and thunderstorms typical of the rainy season. These conditions limit solar heating and promote evaporative cooling, keeping the peak temperature tightly clustered between 31°C and 32°C in trader pricing. Differentiating factors include the precise timing and intensity of afternoon convection, which can suppress the daily maximum by 1–2°C if widespread, versus brief clearing that allows brief warming to 32°C or slightly above. Historical September averages near 30°C provide context, while short-term model runs from regional meteorological centers remain the key near-term catalyst ahead of official observations.
