Trader consensus has locked onto 74-75°F as Seattle’s highest temperature on September 8, driven by National Weather Service observations confirming that exact daily maximum under stable high-pressure conditions. This reading sits squarely within the city’s typical early-September range, where afternoon highs often peak near 72-76°F amid moderating marine influence and light winds. With the date now elapsed, resolution hinges on verified station data rather than forecasts, and the near-certain market odds reflect the low likelihood of measurement revisions or disputes over the official record. Only an unusual post-analysis correction by NOAA could shift the outcome.
