Current forecast consensus from National Weather Service and ensemble models points to a Seattle overnight low near 53°F on September 8 under mostly clear skies and light northerly flow. Radiational cooling after sunset will drive the minimum, modulated by Puget Sound's marine layer and residual moisture from a weak frontal passage the prior day that may limit how far temperatures drop. Historical early-September climatology shows typical lows around 54°F, but recent drier, stable conditions favor slightly cooler readings if winds remain calm. Model spread in boundary-layer mixing and cloud cover creates the tight clustering of market probabilities across the 50–57°F bins, with traders weighing these variables ahead of final observations.
