Recent meteorological forecasts for Shanghai on September 6 converge on a daily maximum near 30°C, driven by persistent northeasterly flow, increasing cloud cover, and scattered light rain that limits daytime heating. Official guidance from sources including the Met Office and regional models shows highs of 29–30°C under partly cloudy to overcast skies with 30–40% precipitation chances, consistent with post-monsoon transition patterns where seasonal averages for early September fall in the upper 20s Celsius. Current observations on September 5 near 30°C with similar moisture and wind regimes support limited upside potential, keeping 31°C or higher as lower-probability outcomes in trader assessments. Updated model runs and official briefings in the next 24 hours will refine these thresholds ahead of market resolution.

To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
