Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to overnight lows in the low to mid-70s across Los Angeles on September 8, driven by lingering moisture and cloud cover from Hurricane Marie remnants plus typical onshore flow that limits radiational cooling. This setup favors a daily minimum well above the 64°F climatological average, elevating the market-implied odds for 80°F or higher while keeping bins in the mid-70s competitive. Marine layer strengthening or scattered showers could still pull readings lower toward dawn, introducing the main uncertainty ahead of updated model runs and NWS briefings.
