Persistent high pressure and southerly flow are sustaining elevated overnight lows across central Texas, with official NWS and model guidance pointing to mid-70s Fahrenheit minimums on September 10 amid minimal cloud cover and light winds. This setup contrasts sharply with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 69.6°F for the date, while record-warm nights near 78°F highlight the upper tail of plausible outcomes under continued heat advection. Trader consensus splitting between sub-70°F and 88°F+ extremes reflects genuine forecast uncertainty in any late-arriving front or model spread on boundary-layer mixing, with fresh guidance from the National Weather Service and ensemble runs expected to refine probabilities ahead of resolution.
