Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate San Francisco’s overnight low on September 10 will likely settle in the low-to-mid 60s, with trader consensus centering on the 62–65 °F bins. Persistent west-southwest flow off the Pacific, combined with lingering high clouds from former Tropical Storm Marie, has limited radiational cooling and kept morning temperatures elevated after several days of above-normal heat. These conditions contrast with the long-term September average low near 56 °F and favor a narrower range around 60–63 °F. Key variables still in play include the exact timing of marine-layer intrusion and wind speeds overnight, both of which will be clarified by updated NWS forecasts and hourly observations through the evening.
