Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Austin on September 10 project daytime highs in the upper 90s, with several point forecasts and model runs centering near 97–99°F amid a persistent upper-level ridge and southerly flow. These conditions align with above-average late-summer warmth, where heat indices may exceed 105°F due to humidity, while partly cloudy skies and isolated afternoon shower chances limit stronger heating. The consensus supports the market’s heaviest positioning on the 98–99°F bin, with modest probabilities assigned to 100–101°F reflecting limited upside from variable cloud cover or model spread. Updated NWS guidance and short-range model runs over the next 48 hours will refine the final maximum temperature reading used for resolution.
