Incumbent Michelle Romero holds a commanding position in the 2026 Henderson mayoral race following her near-majority finish in the June primary, which advanced her to the November 3 runoff against Hollie Chadwick. Romero’s record as mayor since 2023, combined with union endorsements and her performance drawing nearly twice the votes of any single challenger, has solidified trader consensus around her re-election prospects. Chadwick, a former police chief, secured second place but trails significantly in the current market pricing. Potential shifts could stem from campaign developments in the coming months, including voter turnout patterns in the general election, additional endorsements consolidating opposition support, or unforeseen issues affecting local priorities such as public safety and city services.
