Recent National Weather Service and model guidance points to a mostly sunny Sunday with highs in the low 90s, tempered by afternoon thunderstorm chances that could limit peak readings through increased cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Southeast winds near 5 mph and high humidity support temperatures near the 1991–2020 average high of 91°F, while the absence of strong ridging or frontal passages keeps extreme outliers unlikely. Trader consensus clusters on 88–91°F bins because small shifts in convective timing or boundary-layer moisture—factors updated daily in NHC and NOAA short-range ensembles—can swing the daily maximum by a degree or two within the market’s narrow resolution bands.
