Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts indicate Miami highs near 90°F on September 6, with partly sunny conditions giving way to afternoon showers and thunderstorms. This pattern, driven by a subtropical ridge, high sea surface temperatures, and daytime heating that triggers convection, typically allows morning temperatures to peak before cooling from cloud cover and rain. Historical September averages around 88–89°F support the market’s leading 90–91°F (42.5%) and 88–89°F (22.5%) bins, while uncertainty in exact storm timing and intensity keeps lower-probability outcomes for 92°F+ or cooler readings viable until final observations. Updated NHC and local guidance ahead of the date will refine these implied probabilities.
