Recent forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and international models indicate a highest temperature near 32°C in Lucknow on September 14 amid the retreating monsoon, with widespread cloud cover, 70-80% thunderstorm probability, and easterly winds limiting daytime heating. These conditions favor the market's leading 32°C outcome at 39.5% implied probability, followed by 31°C, as reduced insolation and evaporative cooling from showers typically cap maxima 1-2°C below the September climatological average of 33-34°C. Model consensus shows minimal disagreement on steering patterns, though any clearing could allow brief warming toward 33°C. Updated IMD briefings and next model runs will refine resolution thresholds ahead of the daily high measurement.
