**Forecast models and official guidance from the National Weather Service point to a high near 70–71°F in San Francisco on September 13, 2026, aligning with the market’s heaviest weighting on the 70–71°F bin.** A weak frontal boundary passed the region on September 12, clearing skies and establishing moderate onshore westerly flow that limits daytime warming. This setup favors highs in the upper 60s to low 70s, consistent with the long-term average high of approximately 70.8°F for the date. Current model consensus and NWS point forecasts cluster around 69–71°F, with limited potential for 72–73°F if afternoon clearing strengthens or for 68–69°F if marine influence lingers longer than expected. No significant heat or cooling anomalies are indicated in the latest runs, keeping trader focus on the narrow band around seasonal norms. Resolution will hinge on the official maximum recorded at the primary observing site.
