Recent forecasts from the National Weather Service and multiple models indicate a mostly clear to partly cloudy day with light to moderate westerly winds, supporting a high temperature in the low to mid-70s°F for San Francisco on September 14. This aligns with the climatological average high near 71°F for the date and the absence of strong offshore flow or marine layer suppression that typically caps coastal readings. The market's emphasis on the 74-75°F bin reflects this consensus, while the secondary weighting toward 76-77°F accounts for potential localized warming in sheltered areas or slight upward revisions in afternoon observations. With resolution depending on official station readings the following day, traders are closely tracking the latest model runs for any shifts in onshore advection or cloud cover that could alter peak values.
