Recent forecast model consensus from Environment Canada and supporting guidance points to overnight lows in Toronto on September 17 clustered near 15–16 °C, with traders assigning roughly equal implied probabilities to 15 °C, 16 °C, and 21 °C or higher. Variability stems primarily from differences in predicted cloud cover, boundary-layer mixing, and the precise arrival timing of a cooler air mass behind a weak frontal passage. Ensemble spreads remain wide because small shifts in dew-point depression or wind speed can alter the minimum by 2–4 °C. Historical September climatology shows average lows near 13–14 °C, providing context that current guidance sits slightly above normal. Updated model runs and official temperature observations released overnight will likely drive the next market adjustments.

To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
