The Quintana Roo gubernatorial race for 2027 remains highly fragmented, with trader probabilities clustered in the low-to-mid teens for most named contenders and no single candidate exceeding 30 percent implied chance. This reflects the early phase of candidate selection within Morena, which currently holds the governorship, alongside opposition figures, producing a broad field of aspirants including mayors, senators, and local legislators. Limited recent polling and the absence of formal party nominations or major endorsements keep shares tightly bunched, as traders await clearer signals on internal party dynamics and potential coalitions. Upcoming developments such as Morena’s internal surveys, primary processes, or high-profile alliances could consolidate support and create separation, while late surges by lesser-known names or shifts in state political alliances might further fragment the market.
