Official forecasts from the National Weather Service place the September 10 high in Dallas near 100°F under mostly sunny skies, with a 20–40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms and heat indices near 104–106°F. Recent model consensus and observations from prior days showing 100–102°F maxima support trader focus on the 98–99°F bin as the most probable outcome. Above-average late-summer warmth, light southerly flow, and limited cloud cover keep 96–97°F and 100–101°F as secondary possibilities, while historical September 10 records near 91°F on average underscore the elevated conditions driving current market-implied odds.
