Latest National Weather Service forecasts point to a high near 93–95°F in Dallas on September 11, driven by increasing moisture and scattered shower chances that limit daytime heating. Recent model runs show southerly flow bringing higher dew points and partial cloud cover, reducing solar insolation compared with the clear, hot conditions that produced 101°F on September 9 and near-99°F on the 10th. Historical normals for mid-September hover around 91°F, so the current setup sits modestly above average yet below recent peaks. Key variables differentiating the tightly bunched 96–99°F outcomes include exact timing of any convection and afternoon cloud thickness, both of which can suppress the daily maximum by several degrees. Updated NWS guidance and radar trends through the morning will refine these probabilities.
