Persistent high pressure and southerly flow across North Texas have sustained a heat wave, with Dallas overnight lows holding in the upper 70s to low 80s amid clear skies and dew points near 70°F that limit radiative cooling. National Weather Service forecasts for September 11 specifically project a minimum near 79–82°F under mostly clear conditions and light south winds, aligning with the ongoing pattern of 79–82°F lows through the period. Model consensus shows little change from this ridge-dominated setup, though minor shifts in moisture or weak disturbances could nudge the exact low by a few degrees. This scientific stability around typical late-summer values underpins the near-even market split between extreme low and high outcomes, as traders weigh the narrow range of plausible deviations.
