Current National Weather Service forecasts for Austin indicate a Friday low of 77°F under mostly clear skies with southerly flow, consistent with model consensus projecting mid-70s overnight minima amid elevated humidity and limited radiative cooling. This places the daily minimum well above the long-term September 11 average of 69°F and within typical warm-season ranges for the region. Trader sentiment remains split between the 67°F-or-below and 86°F-or-higher bins because small shifts in wind speed, cloud cover, or boundary-layer moisture could alter the exact minimum by several degrees, while upcoming NWS updates and any model revisions represent the next key data points before resolution.
