**Persistent high pressure and southeasterly flow are keeping Austin under hot, humid conditions with limited overnight cooling.** Official National Weather Service and affiliated forecasts for September 10 project a daily minimum in the mid- to upper 70s (around 76–78°F), consistent with recent observations of lows in the upper 70s amid above-normal temperatures and heat indices near or above 105°F. Model consensus shows little change in steering patterns or moisture through the period, with only isolated afternoon shower chances and no cold front or significant radiational cooling expected. Historical September minimums in Austin typically fall in the low- to mid-70s, providing context for the current outlook. The near-even market split between 69°F-or-below and 88°F-or-higher outcomes reflects trader assessment of tail risks in a stable but uncertain warm regime, while narrower bins around typical values carry lower implied probabilities. Updated model runs and evening observations will be key near-term catalysts.
