Current National Weather Service and private model consensus for Austin on September 10 points to a high in the upper 90s under persistent high pressure and southerly flow from the Gulf, with mostly sunny skies, light winds, and only isolated afternoon shower chances. This setup has held steady in recent runs, supporting the market’s leading 98-99°F bin at 49.5% implied probability while keeping 100-101°F at a secondary 27.5%. Above-normal warmth continues a multi-day heat wave, though modest model spread around peak timing and any thin cloud cover introduces the observed probability tail into the mid-90s and low 100s. Updated NHC and local guidance tomorrow morning will refine the exact maximum before resolution.
