**Official National Weather Service forecasts for Houston on September 10 project a high near 91°F under partly sunny skies with a 40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms.** Light southeast winds and high humidity typical of late-summer Gulf Coast conditions favor modest daytime heating without strong capping, aligning with the market’s leading 90-91°F outcome at 35.5% implied probability. Recent model runs and NWS guidance show consistency around this range, close to the 1991–2020 daily average high of 90.3°F, while thunderstorm timing and coverage introduce minor uncertainty that could nudge readings into the 88–93°F band favored by traders. No significant shifts in steering patterns or moisture have altered the outlook in the past 24–48 hours.
