The market's near-certain pricing on 72-73°F reflects the official recorded high temperature for San Francisco on September 11, 2026, as measured by National Weather Service stations such as downtown or airport sites. Recent model runs and surface observations confirmed stable marine layer conditions with afternoon highs in that narrow range, consistent with climatological averages near 71°F for the date and lacking any heat-wave drivers like offshore flow or anomalous warming. This outcome aligns with verified data rather than forecasts, leaving minimal room for alternative bins. A realistic challenge would require an official data revision or resolution based on an alternate station reading outside the primary network, though such adjustments are rare once preliminary climatological reports are issued.
