Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models project a Monday high near 94°F for Houston under mostly sunny skies with light variable winds shifting southeast. This aligns with the current late-September pattern of subsidence and minimal cloud cover that has produced recent highs in the mid-to-upper 90s, allowing strong daytime solar heating amid typical Gulf moisture. Heat indices near 103°F reflect humidity but do not alter the dry-bulb maximum. The dominant 94-95°F market outcome reflects trader alignment with this stable guidance, while slight upside or downside risk stems from possible minor model adjustments to cloud cover or wind before the daily peak.
