Recent ensemble forecasts from major models indicate a building high-pressure ridge over northern Italy, promoting mostly clear skies and light easterly winds that should allow modest daytime heating in Milan on September 12. This setup follows unsettled, cooler conditions earlier in the week, with surface temperatures expected to peak near 24–26 °C according to the latest guidance. Key variables include the exact timing and strength of the ridge, which controls insolation and advection of warmer air masses, versus any lingering low-level moisture that could enhance cloud cover and cap the maximum. Resolution hinges on the official daily high reported by Milan’s meteorological station, with traders assigning the highest implied probability to 25 °C amid typical short-range forecast uncertainty.
