Official forecasts from the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau and consensus across GFS and ECMWF models point to a September 11 high near 29°C under mostly cloudy skies with northeast winds under 20 km/h and humidity of 60–80%. Trader sentiment splits closely between 28°C and 29°C because modest variations in cloud thickness or the timing of any light showers could cap peak warming by 1°C through reduced solar insolation. Historical September baselines show typical highs around 28–30°C, but current moisture and stable steering patterns favor limited daytime heating. Updated model runs and the next official briefing tomorrow morning represent the key near-term catalysts that could shift implied probabilities.
