Recent National Weather Service and ensemble forecasts for Dallas on September 19 show a continued warm, southerly flow with clear skies, supporting a nighttime low in the mid-to-upper 70s°F amid elevated dew points near 60–65°F that limit radiative cooling. This pattern aligns with the ongoing September heat wave, where recent overnight minima have held in the upper 70s to low 80s, well above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 69°F. Model consensus remains tight on these values, though subtle shifts in wind direction or boundary-layer moisture could alter the minimum by a few degrees. Trader sentiment reflected in the near-even odds between 67°F or below and 86°F or higher highlights uncertainty around potential model revisions or unseasonable cold-air intrusions, with resolution hinging on official Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport observations.
