The official National Weather Service observation for Miami on September 19, 2026, recorded a minimum temperature of 75°F, aligning precisely with the market's 99.3% implied probability for the 74-75°F bin. This outcome reflects typical late-September conditions in South Florida, where overnight lows average 76-77°F amid high humidity and minimal frontal influence, with the slight dip below normal consistent with localized radiative cooling under partly cloudy skies. National Weather Service data from Miami International Airport provide the authoritative measurement for market resolution, incorporating standard 24-hour minimums without adjustment for microclimates. Scenarios that could have challenged the consensus, such as an unexpected cold-air intrusion or model errors in pre-event forecasts, did not materialize, leaving trader positioning anchored in climatological baselines and real-time observations.
