**Trader consensus strongly favors a lowest temperature of 78-79°F in Houston on September 13, 2026, at 90.5% implied probability, reflecting National Weather Service forecasts of overnight lows in the upper 70s amid persistent southerly flow and high humidity.** Current conditions feature dew points near 76-77°F and minimal overnight radiational cooling under partly cloudy skies, keeping the minimum well above the long-term September 13 average of 73°F. Recent model runs show no frontal passages or significant rain-cooled air masses to drive the reading into the mid-70s or lower, consistent with the market's low odds (under 4%) for 73°F or below. A realistic challenge would require an unexpected localized thunderstorm or revised station measurement deviating from the forecast envelope, though official guidance remains stable through the overnight period.
