**Current National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble guidance for Miami International Airport point to a daily minimum temperature in the upper 70s on September 7, with most runs showing 76–79 °F under typical late-summer conditions.** High atmospheric moisture, light steering winds, and scattered nocturnal convection are expected to limit radiational cooling, keeping the low from dropping into the low 70s while also preventing an extreme warm night above 85 °F. Recent days have featured overnight lows of 76–79 °F amid similar thunderstorm activity and dew points near 77 °F, providing a close climatological analog. Key variables that could shift the exact minimum include the timing and coverage of evening showers (which trap heat) versus any brief clearing that allows greater cooling. Updated short-range model runs and the next NWS forecast discussion will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
