Recent forecast models from sources like the GFS and regional outlooks project a minimum temperature near 15–16°C for Toronto on September 7, consistent with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 15.4°C and typical early-September conditions under moderate high pressure. This baseline supports elevated market-implied odds for outcomes around 13–15°C, while the notable 45.5% probability assigned to 10°C or below likely reflects trader emphasis on forecast uncertainty ranges, potential model spread in overnight radiative cooling, and minor steering influences from a passing trough. No major weather systems or anomalies have altered the outlook in the past 48 hours, keeping probabilities anchored to seasonal norms ahead of final observational data.
