National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 21 point to a high near 93°F under mostly sunny skies, with only a 20-30% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms that could slightly suppress the peak reading. Recent model guidance and hourly trends show temperatures climbing through the low 90s midday before any convection develops, supported by elevated dew points near 70°F and light winds. This setup keeps the 92-93°F bin competitive with 90-91°F in trader pricing, as the precise timing of any storms or subtle steering changes remains the main variable that could shift the official maximum by 1-2 degrees. Historical September norms for the city hover in the low 80s, underscoring the unseasonable warmth currently in place.
