National Weather Service forecasts for New York City indicate a high near 72°F on September 19 under mostly sunny skies with northeast winds of 7-10 mph, driving the market's leading implied probabilities for 70-71°F and 72-73°F bins. This reflects a post-frontal cooling pattern after warmer, more humid conditions earlier in the week, with model consensus supporting highs in the lower 70s amid clear to partly cloudy skies and minimal precipitation risk. Historical September averages near 75°F provide context for the below-normal readings expected, while any minor upward revisions in morning updates could shift sentiment toward the 74-75°F range if daytime heating exceeds projections.
