Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts for Denver indicate a high near 70–73°F on September 20, driven by northerly flow behind overnight showers and scattered afternoon thunderstorms that will limit daytime heating. These conditions follow a cooler-than-normal September 19, when highs reached only the mid-70s amid widespread convection. Model consensus points to modest warming under partly cloudy skies, with dew points in the upper 40s to low 50s supporting surface temperatures that cluster in the low-to-mid 70s rather than the seasonal average near 77°F. Trader-implied probabilities therefore concentrate on the 70–75°F bins, reflecting the latest guidance that afternoon mixing and cloud cover will cap peaks below historical norms while ruling out extremes.
