Latest National Weather Service and NOAA model guidance for Seattle on September 21 points to a daytime high in the mid-to-upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies with light northwesterly winds, keeping the market-implied odds tightly clustered between the 64–69°F bins. Persistent marine layer moisture and extensive cloud cover are limiting daytime solar heating compared with clearer conditions on September 20, while the region’s typical late-September climatology favors moderation near 68°F. Ensemble spread in cloud timing and thickness creates the narrow gap between the top two outcomes, with traders weighting recent runs showing slightly warmer or cooler maxima. Final resolution will hinge on the official Sea-Tac Airport observation, with any last-minute model updates likely to shift positioning only modestly before midnight.
