Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts indicate a partly cloudy Tuesday with a high near 77-79°F for Denver, aligning with the market's top outcome at 34% implied probability for 78-79°F. Afternoon heating under variable cloud cover and a modest chance of scattered showers or thunderstorms—typically 10-30%—could cap or briefly boost readings by a degree or two depending on timing and coverage. This range sits close to the 1991-2020 climatological average high of 76°F for September 22, with model guidance showing limited spread but sensitivity to boundary-layer moisture and downslope flow along the Front Range. Traders appear to weigh these standard late-summer variables against the narrow historical window between 74-82°F.
