This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Ben Gurion International Airport in degrees Celsius on 14 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=LLBG If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current short-range forecasts for Tel Aviv on September 14, 2026, show daytime highs clustered around 31–32°C under mostly clear skies and light northwest winds.** This aligns with the market-implied probabilities favoring 32°C (50.5%) and 33°C (31.5%), reflecting trader consensus on modest warmth consistent with late-summer Mediterranean conditions. Key scientific drivers include the persistent influence of the Mediterranean sea breeze, which typically peaks in the afternoon and caps coastal maxima by advecting cooler marine air onshore, alongside stable high pressure and minimal cloud cover that allows strong solar heating without significant moisture or frontal activity. Historical September averages for Tel Aviv place daytime highs near 30–31°C, with September 14 climatology around 29°C, though recent years have trended slightly warmer; the 2026 outlooks sit at or modestly above these baselines without signals for anomalous heat (such as easterly flow or suppressed sea breeze) or cooling. No major model disagreements appear in available guidance, and with the date only two days away, resolution hinges on final observational updates and any subtle shifts in boundary-layer mixing or wind speed. Traders appear to price in a narrow distribution centered on 32–33°C, consistent with the low probabilities assigned to extremes below 31°C or above 34°C.
