Recent National Weather Service and private model guidance for Denver shows overnight lows on September 14 likely falling in the mid-50s Fahrenheit under partly to mostly cloudy skies and isolated thunderstorm chances, with some runs indicating 54–60 °F and others closer to 63 °F if winds remain lighter. This narrow spread around the 59 °F threshold explains the near-even market split between the ≤59 °F and ≥78 °F outcomes, as small forecast shifts in cloud cover or timing of any showers can swing the minimum by several degrees. Historical September climatology places average lows near 50 °F, providing context for the current cooler-than-normal signal. Fresh model updates from the National Hurricane Center’s parent agency and local NWS offices expected overnight will likely refine the range before resolution.
