Current forecast models from the National Weather Service and other agencies point to a minimum temperature of 67–71°F in Central Park on September 9, driven by a warming trend under southerly flow ahead of a weak frontal passage. Recent observations show overnight lows near 64°F on September 6 and 60°F on September 7 amid clearer, cooler air, with the shift to milder conditions reflecting seasonal norms slightly above the 1991–2020 average low of 63.8°F for the date. Limited cloud cover and light winds overnight are expected to prevent significant radiational cooling, while model consensus shows little spread in the 68–70°F range. Traders have priced the 70–71°F and 68–69°F buckets highest as the most likely outcomes ahead of the official NWS observation that will resolve the market.
