Recent polls show Die Linke leading or near the top in Berlin with 20-22% support ahead of the September 20 Abgeordnetenhaus election, buoyed by gains of 2-3 points over the past month amid voter focus on housing affordability and rents. This positions the party for roughly 26-32 seats in the 130-seat chamber, though exact totals depend on second-vote distribution, turnout, and overhang rules. Trader odds cluster tightly across the 25-39 seat range because polls remain volatile within a narrow band, with CDU, AfD, and Greens close behind and roughly one-third of voters undecided six weeks out. Further shifts in Linke support on economic issues, candidate visibility for Elif Eralp, or late swings in participation among younger or urban voters could widen the gap between brackets before election night.
