Recent National Weather Service and local forecasts indicate a high near 91°F for Denver on September 6, with scattered afternoon thunderstorms possible amid lingering warmth from a high-pressure ridge. This aligns with observed highs of 92–93°F in the preceding days and places the expected maximum above the 1991–2020 climatological average of roughly 83°F. Thunderstorm development tied to increasing moisture could introduce modest cooling or timing variability that affects the precise peak reading at official stations. Model consensus and short-range guidance support the market's emphasis on the 90–93°F range, while the probability distribution reflects remaining uncertainty in convective timing and any late adjustments from updated NWS or NOAA guidance before resolution.
