Recent ensemble forecasts from sources including GFS and regional models indicate a high of 15–17°C for Helsinki on September 16, driven by southerly flow advecting mild Atlantic air under increasing cloud cover and scattered showers. This setup aligns with climatological norms for mid-September, when average daily maxima hover near 16°C amid transitioning seasonal patterns. Trader consensus heavily favors 16°C, reflecting model agreement on limited diurnal warming due to high humidity and precipitation probabilities exceeding 50% in several runs. Minor spreads in guidance, such as slight variations in wind strength or frontal timing, sustain smaller probabilities for 15°C or 17°C, while extremes remain improbable given stable pressure fields. Updated short-range forecasts expected within 48 hours could refine these odds ahead of market resolution.
