Recent forecasts from the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Foreca, and other models converge on a 16°C high for Helsinki on September 19 under persistent southwesterly flow, extensive cloud cover, and periods of rain that suppress daytime warming. This places the day slightly above the mid-September climatological average of roughly 14°C while remaining well below thresholds for stronger anomalies. Model agreement across runs through September 17 supports limited variability, with only modest upside risk if breaks in cloud cover allow brief additional heating. Market-implied odds heavily favor 16°C as the resolution outcome, reflecting trader alignment with this stable forecast consensus ahead of any final observational data.
