Recent model consensus and official METMalaysia guidance point to a hazy Saturday with isolated afternoon convection likely capping the daily maximum near 31–32°C in Kuala Lumpur. Persistent regional haze reduces incoming solar radiation while elevated humidity and light southeasterly flow favor scattered showers that further limit afternoon heating. Historical September climatology shows typical highs of 31–33°C, but the current setup—with widespread cloud cover and thunderstorm probabilities above 50%—shifts trader focus toward the lower end of that range. Updated short-range guidance and any late-day METMalaysia briefing will refine whether the peak reaches 33°C or stays at 31°C.
