Current National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance point to a high near 92°F in Houston on September 11 under partly sunny conditions with a 40-50% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. This outlook, consistent across recent runs and aligned with seasonal norms of roughly 90°F, underpins trader emphasis on the 90-91°F bin as the leading outcome. Abundant Gulf moisture and sea-breeze convergence introduce variability, as earlier or more widespread convection could limit insolation and cap readings in the upper 80s, while clearer periods or delayed storms raise the chance of 92-93°F. Updated NWS briefings and afternoon model cycles over the next 24 hours will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
