Recent National Weather Service and model consensus forecasts for Los Angeles on September 9 indicate overnight lows in the upper 60s to mid-70s°F, with several runs favoring 74–77°F under a persistent warm air mass, light westerly winds, and limited radiative cooling from partly cloudy skies. This setup follows several days of above-average highs near 90–100°F that have elevated baseline temperatures and reduced typical nocturnal drops. Historical September minima average near 64°F, but current conditions suppress cooling enough to make sub-70°F outcomes unlikely. Updated model runs and official observations through the evening will refine these probabilities ahead of market resolution.
